What is home health care?

Home care is health care delivered in an individual’s home.  Services may include skilled nursing, personal cares, physical, occupational and speech therapy, medical social services, home maker services, personal emergency response systems, and respite to a primary caregiver, among others.

What are the advantages of home health care?

Home health care allows you or your loved one to live in the comfort of your own home, preventing or delaying the need to go to a hospital or long term care facility.  We believe that you or your loved one will be happier and healthier in your own home.

How is Iowa Home Care different?

We’re independently owned and operated. Everything we do is done with love, kindness, and respect for our client.  We include personal touches like complimentary aromatherapy, soft tissue massage and more.

How do I seek home health care for myself or a loved one?

Call us at any of our locations and we will take it from there.  We realize this is a stressful time for your family and we will make it simple.  We’ll contact your physician, verify your insurance, and visit you in the comfort of your own home. If you are in the hospital, skilled nursing unit or a residential care facility, prior to discharge we can visit you to ensure a smooth transition to home.  Iowa Home Care is only a phone call away, and we’re here to serve you.
